Trick Dog
Trick training is a fun way to bond with your dog while teaching entertaining behaviors. This program covers everything from simple tricks like getting into a box on cue to advanced sequences that wow your friends. You can train at home or join a class for guidance. Complete the required tricks and earn the official AKC Trick Dog title, a proud achievement for you and your pup!

If you have a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate or title on record at AKC, you may count the CGC as 5 of the required tricks for the Novice Trick Dog Title. If you do not have your CGC, you will need to have 10 tricks to earn the title.

A total of 10 tricks are required to earn the Intermediate Trick Dog Title. Must have the Novice Trick Dog Title; CGC is not required. No more than 2 Handler’s Choice tricks (optional). Tricks must not have been previously submitted for Novice.

A total of 10 tricks are required to earn the Advanced Trick Dog Title. Must have the Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog Titles; CGC is not required. There can be no more than 2 Handler’s Choice tricks (optional). Tricks must be Advanced and not previously submitted for other titles.

A total of 10 tricks are required to earn the Performer Trick Dog Title. Story is an option. Tricks must be Intermediate, Advanced or Performer and must be tricks not previously submitted for other titles. Must have the Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Trick Dog Titles.

A total of 10 tricks from the Advanced or Performer levels are required to earn the Trick Dog Elite Performer Title. (Must have all 4 previous titles on record). A story/script is required for the Elite Performer for providing entertainment.
$20 per level for an in person or video review.
